The Home School Community Liaison Scheme aims to improve educational outcomes for children by supporting parents & guardians. 

Hi, my name is Yvonne Claffey.   As the HSCL at Oxmantown School, I work in partnership with parents, teachers and local community organisations to support educational  outcomes  for pupils/ students.   I work closely with TESS (Tusla Education Support Services), the EWO (Education Welfare Officer) & personnel from the SCP (School Completion Programme) to improve educational outcomes for children. As part of my work as HSCL, I meet parents & guardians during home visits, at courses for parents in the school and at other school community events.   I can be contacted at the school for advice, information and support.
